Vixul Accelerator, cohort 26-2
Datics was accepted into and joined Vixul's Accelerator, an Austin-based program for technology services companies, as part of its 26-2 cohort.
Datics AI (Datics AI Technologies (Pvt) Ltd) is an AI and product engineering company. My brother Rana Umar Majeed and I founded it in Lahore in October 2018. He is our co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, and since August 2024 I have led the company from Austin, Texas, where Datics Solutions LLC is our U.S. headquarters.
We started with AI and data science. Working deep inside real software products pushed us into product engineering, and today our specialization is Brownfield AI: helping established SaaS companies build AI into the workflows, data, permissions and architecture their customers already depend on.
We built these at Datics AI, where I lead the team as CEO. Clients are not named: we show the work, not the client.
Datics Solutions LLC is the U.S. home of Datics, the next chapter of the same company. Datics AI in Lahore is where the team and technical foundation were built, and Datics Solutions LLC brings that capability closer to the U.S. software companies we work with. I have led it as CEO since August 2024.

Datics was accepted into and joined Vixul's Accelerator, an Austin-based program for technology services companies, as part of its 26-2 cohort.
Datics AI was one of sixteen companies in the TechLift Joint Venture, an IT industry readiness program of the Ministry of IT & Telecom, PSEB and P@SHA. Datics AI trained 216 of the program's 4,004 graduates. I signed the Joint Venture Agreement for Datics AI in 2022.
Datics AI has trained around 300 young people in AWS and artificial intelligence (machine learning and deep learning) as a training partner of NAVTTC under the Prime Minister's Youth Skill Development Program, including international certification exams for the 2024-25 Batch-II.
Web Summit's judges chose Datics AI for PITCH, the startup competition at Web Summit 2022. 105 of the roughly 2,300 startups exhibiting took part in PITCH. I pitched Datics AI on the PITCH stage.

Datics AI was selected for the Startup Showcase at Collision 2023 and exhibited in the BETA startup area.

Datics AI began as an Upwork agency in December 2018 and was awarded Upwork's Top Rated Plus badge, which Upwork reserves for the top 3% of performers, with a 100% Job Success score. I was admitted to Upwork's Expert-Vetted program in 2021 after an interview and screening by Upwork's Talent Managers. Upwork describes Expert-Vetted as the top 1% of its talent.
As fractional Chief Development Officer of Coast Technology (Dealership Toolkit), a U.S. software company, I led the technical development and implementation of Secure Tax Office, a property-tax collection platform. It launched publicly in December 2020, expanded to several sheriffs' offices in Louisiana, and was acquired in December 2022.
I took part in USAID's 2023 consultations on artificial intelligence in Pakistan, including a stakeholder roundtable in Lahore in August 2023. I am listed as a contributor in USAID's report, Rapid Landscaping of Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture in Pakistan (October 2023).
Rich DeLancey is the CEO of Coast Technology in Tampa, the U.S. company behind Dealership Toolkit and Secure Tax Office. In a video message to the Datics team, he told a story his father used to tell, and explained why he chose to work with us.
From two founders in 2018 to a team in Lahore and a headquarters in Austin.
My brother Rana Umar Majeed and I started Datics AI in Lahore in October 2018, growing out of my freelance practice.
By its second anniversary, celebrated with clients, teammates and their families in January 2021, Datics had grown from two people to more than forty.
Three years in, the team had grown past fifty people, LCCI named me Dynamic Entrepreneur of the Year for that growth, and Datics celebrated its third anniversary with its people and clients.
Datics was named Best LCCI Software House and joined the TechLift Joint Venture. By August the team was around sixty-five people, and on October 7 the whole team gathered for the fourth anniversary, where I reviewed the year's growth and presented certificates of appreciation.

Datics celebrated its fifth anniversary on October 7, 2023 at the Governor House in Lahore, hosted by the Governor of Punjab, Muhammad Baligh Ur Rehman. The same year it exhibited at Collision in Toronto.

Datics celebrated six years of innovation and growth with its team and clients, opened Datics Solutions LLC in Austin as its U.S. headquarters, and began training young people in AI with NAVTTC.
Datics turned seven and focused its work on Brownfield AI: building AI into established SaaS products.

The team in Lahore and I in Austin celebrated eight years of Datics: one company, growing into a new chapter.
